This module provides evidence to support early targeted enrichment of a child’s environment after brain injury to stimulate their social, cognitive, motor and sensory domains. You will learn and apply fundamental skills to optimise goal-oriented environmental enrichment to support infants and young children with cerebral palsy to reach their potential.
By completing this module, you will learn to:
- Analyse the evidence for environmental enrichment for optimal early child development after brain injury
- Identify strategies for supporting families to enrich their infant’s environment in social, cognitive, motor and sensory domains
- Apply skills to real-life scenarios to optimise environments for infant learning
