Becoming a CPAdvance™ Accredited Practitioner is a meaningful step in your professional journey, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and evidence. To achieve this status and proudly display your digital badge, you will complete three key components: the Essentials course, the Core course (specific to your discipline), and your choice of three Electives. Alongside these, you will successfully pass a comprehensive assessment to validate your learning. 

We understand the importance of flexibility and early access, so practitioners eager to pursue accreditation can benefit from a bundle price on early-release modules, allowing you to complete much of the required learning ahead of time. The remaining Core and Elective modules will be available by mid-2026, with examination details shared in early 2026 to help you prepare. 

This Accreditation not only highlights your expertise to clients, employers, and the wider sector but also supports your ongoing professional development for the year.

Achieving CPAdvance™ Accredited Practitioner status equips you to provide exceptional support to these young clients, making a lasting, positive impact on their developmental journey. 

Continuing Professional Development (CPD or CE Points) 

When you complete each module of learning, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.  In the early release of CPAdvance, completing Essentionals and Core will provide you with between 13 and 16 hours (depending on your discipline) of professional development which can be used towards your CPD or CE requirements.

CPAdvance™ is based on research of interventions with infants with, or at risk of, cerebral palsy however many of the key principles and approaches can be applied to infants with similar neuro disabilities.  The Essentials Course is specifically designed for practitioners working across a broad range of infant disabilities.

CPAdvance™ goes beyond learning objectives – by embedding  key theoretical models, practice principles and frameworks throughout the learning process, CPAdvance seeks to shape therapists’ way of approaching, interpreting and addressing all clinical scenarios beyond those presented in the modules. 

The clinical and research governance team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance, in conjuction with a global team of key opinion leaders, are constantly reviewing the latest research. As new evidence comes to hand then so to will the commencement of translation occur and new modules developed or updated.
