CPAdvance™ Accredited Practitioner

An industry-recognised professional accredtation

Formal recognition of advanced competence in evidence‑based early intervention

The CPAdvance™ Accredited Practitioner certification formally recognises health professionals who demonstrate advanced knowledge, clinical reasoning, and competence in evidence‑based intervention for infants and young children with complex motor and neurological disabilities, including cerebral palsy.

This accreditation reflects the completion of a structured, tertiarylevel learning pathway and assessment process designed to support highquality clinical practice and improved outcomes for children and their families.

Purpose and Value of Accreditation

Becoming a CPAdvance™ Accredited Practitioner represents a significant milestone in professional development and demonstrates a clear commitment to evidence-informed practice, clinical excellence, and lifelong learning.

As early diagnosis of cerebral palsy and related conditions becomes increasingly common globally, there is a growing demand for clinicians equipped with specialised skills in early, developmentally informed intervention. CPAdvance™ Accreditation provides formal recognition that practitioners have achieved an established standard of competency in this specialised area of practice.

Accreditation supports professional credibility with employers, colleagues, and families, while contributing to safer, more effective and consistent intervention for children with complex developmental needs.

Pathways to Accreditation

Accreditation may be attained through one of two structured learning pathways, designed to accommodate differing professional needs and learning preferences.

CPAdvance™ Accreditation Practitioner Course

Participants may enrol directly in the CPAdvance™ Accreditation Practitioner Course, which provides immediate access to the full suite of course content. This pathway includes all required modules as well as a selection of electives, allowing participants to tailor their learning experience to their specific professional interests and disciplinary context. This option is recommended for individuals seeking a comprehensive and streamlined approach to accreditation completion.

Essentials, Core and Electives

Accreditation can be gained by purchasing the courses individually and successfully completing the accreditation examination modules.

This means completing the Essentials Course, your discipline specific Core Course and one Build Your Own Learning Journey with your choice of three electives.

Essentials and Build Your Learning Journey

Alternatively, participants may choose the Essentials and Build Your Learning Journey pathway. This option enables learners to complete the eight Essential modules as a standalone course before progressively developing their accreditation portfolio. Following completion of the Essentials, participants may purchase:

Small bundles of Core modules aligned with their professional discipline; three Elective modules selected according to individual learning goals.

This pathway offers greater flexibility and supports a staged approach to professional development, allowing learners to build their accreditation over time. Note, the pathways approach will include an additional elective in most cases.
